Akeeba eXtract Wizard lets you extract backup files of ZIP, JPA, and JPS formats without a web server. Its native code comes in handy for those servers where running Kickstart is impossible or when the archive is too big. You can use Akeeba eXtract Wizard as an alternative, when you're restoring on a Windows server and some filenames are causing problems.
